Shakespeare

I think that superstition is when people believe in something absurd so that they won’t or will do certain things. This is part of the Wikipedia definition: an unreasonable or excessive belief in fear or magic, especially foreign or fantastical ideas.
It can play parts in peoples lifes like: not going under ladders, not stepping on cracks, hoping a black cat doesn’t cross your path, andfearing Friday the thriteenth.

That was a very good post on superstition. You know in England they believe that certain bridges are haunted and after a certain time in the evening they will not cross those bridges (footbridges).
